The Voyager is well known to thousands of children and adults for Whale watching and has offered the public many an unparalleled opportunity to photograph, learn about Whales and other creatures of the ocean. The southward migration of the California Gray Whale is truly one of the most magnificent sights afforded to Southern Californians, it staggers the imagination and challenges human description. Redondo Sport Fishing offers, by reservation, Whale Watch Excursions at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM on weekends and 10:00 AM & 1:30 PM trips during the week. The Whale Watch season runs mid-December through March of each year. On board for the three to three-and-a-half-hour tour is a knowledgeable member of the Cetacean Society to tell you about the variety of sea life to be observed along with the California Gray Whale. Commonly seen are Sharks, Pilot Whales, Sea Lions, Seals, Pelicans, Sea Gulls and the finned comedians of the deep- the playful Porpoises and Dolphins.
